About BCSN
Student ambassadors chosen to represent their school in BCSN will engage with a global network of peers, learn about entrepreneurship, culture, arts, etc. from various perspectives, and develop leadership skills while planning events for a broader student audience.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Each school names one faculty/staff member as BCSN Advisor to oversee and encourage their ambassadors
- Each school names four students (Bachelor's and/or Masters') to represent them in BCSN (called Ambassadors). Each school may determine their own criteria for selecting their Ambassadors. The term for an Ambassador is usually one year, with four new ambassadors chosen each year. The Advisor decides if students will continue or leave to make room for new ambassadors.
- Events are planned regularly by teams of ambassadors from various member schools. The purpose of these events is to educate attendees about an important topic through the lens of the host country(ies)/culture(s).
- BCSN ambassadors are expected to contribute: to join planning teams and create events for the network; to support peers by attending events planned by other ambassadors; and to engage actively with WhatsApp and other social media platforms.
- We expect student ambassadors to drive BCSN activities to ensure that it remains relevant and valuable.
- The official language for BCSN activities and communications is English
