Collaborative member institutions gain one complimentary membership in the Diana International Research Institute (DIRI) Membership Organization to distribute to an educator or graduate researcher interested in women’s entrepreneurship.
Established in 1999, by five founding scholars, Babson College’s Diana International Research Institute is regarded as the premier international research organization specializing in Women’s Entrepreneurship. What started as an international conference, is now a robust membership platform for scholars, educators, policy makers and practitioners.
The Diana International Research Institute (DIRI) Membership Organization convenes and connects a global community of researchers, educators, policymakers and practitioners to collectively identify, investigate, and share best practices that lead to further research and practical approaches supporting women entrepreneurs and their businesses.

Selection Process
The Collaborative champion is responsible for determining the individual educator, researcher, or graduate researcher who will receive the DIRI membership. Each Collaborative member institution may set up an internal process and deadline for selection.

- Access to the DIRI online platform that facilitates the exchanging of women’s entrepreneurship resources through content libraries and discussion boards, highlights research and learning opportunities, and outlines partner discounts
- Access to the annual research conference (open only to DIRI members; conference registration fee is not included)
- Access to quarterly educator and researcher roundtables, mini-forums and newsletters
Selection Process

- Who will benefit most from the membership? Faculty, researchers and graduate students interested in supporting and advancing women’s entrepreneurship.
- Who chooses the individual beneficiary from my school? The Collaborative champion is ultimately responsible for conveying the name of the individual to the Collaborative.
- Can we change the beneficiary? The membership is for one year. You may name a new beneficiary each year. Exceptions will be considered for extenuating circumstances.
- If selected by my institution to gain membership, what happens next? Once the Collaborative champion conveys the beneficiary's name and email, the beneficiary will receive a registration link and code for complimentary registration. Upon registration, the DIRI team will provide login credentials and follow-up instructions.
