2022 Babson Collaborative Syllabus Book


​CALL FOR SYLLABI:
We are pleased to announce a call for syllabi to be included in the 2022 Babson Collaborative Syllabus Book, an organized, codified collection by members for members. This is not a published collection but it will be launched and contributors will be recognized at the 2022 Collaborative Global Summit, March 14-16, 2022

The deadline to contribute to the 2022 book has passed. 
Thank you to everyone who participated!


Members are encouraged to submit materials to the Collaborative Academic Content Library throughout the year. 

Requirements/Templates

REQUIREMENTS:
The syllabus must:
  • Be in English;
  • Be for an entrepreneurship course or a course with significant entrepreneurship content; and
  • Include:
    • Course Description
    • Learning Objectives:  describe the course for the student and identify what the student will learn as a result.
    • Teaching & Learning Philosophy:  discuss how the course is taught and how student learn (e.g. cases, lecture, exercises, etc.)
    • Course Materials:  list books, cases, simulations, and readings required
    • Grading & Deliverables:  list all graded assignments (include percent of  total grade and due date for each deliverable)
    • Class Schedule:  for each class session, list:  1) session date, 2) session topic, 3) learning objectives, and 4) assignments
    • Other:  Is there anything you want to include? For example, you may want to include course policies. At Babson we must include text around religious observance and academic accommodations in each syllabus.

While we do not require the syllabus be in any particular format, we do provide templates and samples for your consideration on the  Academic Content Library page.

Utilize the existing Document Submission Form for the Academic Content Library.

Conditions

All submissions will be reviewed by Babson Collaborative leadership. Syllabi that are accepted into the book will also be included in the Collaborative Academic Content Library on the member portal, which houses a wide variety of materials including syllabi, exercises, assignments and more, available for download and use by members.

Syllabi are to be shared among members of the Babson Collaborative only.  Sharing beyond the Collaborative requires permission from the author.  All authors retain copyright to their materials.
