Member Interest Groups (MIGs) encourage deeper ties around common interests, facilitate sharing of expertise, and help members advance their own objectives. Each group is lead by a chairperson who convenes members, drives the initiative and provides progress updates throughout the year.

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
Chair: Sofhia Harbs (Facens, Brazil)
This group was created to explore new ways in which students at Collaborative members can engage with each other and gain value from the institutional membership. The group launched with a Community Conversation with a large brainstorm, followed by member meetings to prioritize. They launched a student survey to validate our ideas with our audience. 154 students completed the survey.
Currently, the primary initiative of the MIG is the Babson Collaborative Student Network (BSCN).

The MIG plans to hold quarterly meetings to facilitate the continued sharing of best practices, challenges and opportunities related to university accelerators and incubators. The group plans to advance goals defined by the members, including exploration of a Babson Collaborative accelerator program through which participants could access mentors, global perspectives and local resources from member schools.
