Unlocking Potential: Why Cultivating an Entrepreneurial Mindset Pre-College is Vital

In this interactive session, we will share how Babson's Youth Impact Lab partners with secondary schools to empower teachers to integrate Babson’s student-centric approach to problem-solving into their curriculum. We will engage participants in an entrepreneurial activity so they can experience how our youth entrepreneurship curriculum allows students to become co-creators of their learning journey while increasing students' and teachers' entrepreneurial self-efficacy.

The Student Challenge: Empowering Students to Impact Sustainable Development Goals
DeSCRIPTION
The Babson Collaborative Global Student Challenge has impacted over 6000 students at 34 member institutions in six years. Panelists will share their approach, successes, and lessons learned as they integrated the Challenge into their institution. They will discuss how they promoted and managed the Challenge to increase the impact and make it a signature program for their institution.

Gifting Session
DeSCRIPTION
We all have those things that we do to make class a little bit more fun, engaging, creative, inclusive and conducive to active discussion, etc. This could range from an interesting way to assess participation to a fun way to arrange students into groups. In the spirit of collaboration, each participant will have two minutes (you will be timed) to present their unique activity, technique or tip (the “gift”) with the group. Attendees will have access to each other’s contact information and to any materials shared. If you will participate and want to share materials with the group, please email the materials to [email protected] with a subject line, "Two-Minute Gifts". Include your name, school and title of your gift in the email.
